Dr. Katelyn Roberts
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist, Doctor of Physical Therapy
I grew up here in Fort Smith, AR, and graduated from Southside High School. Went on to receive my Bachelor of Science in Health Science at the University of Central Arkansas and finally graduated with my doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2023.
I worked in skilled nursing for 7 months right out of PT school and transitioned to outpatient for Therapists in Motion in March of 2024. Educated in dry needling and able to perform in-clinic for pain management.
Integrity is very important to me and always has been. Having strong ethical and moral principles that I follow no matter who is watching is something I take pride in. Honesty is a major core value in my life as well and both of these are key values that make a great health care professional in my opinion.
“Treat others how you want to be treated.”
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I evaluate and treat common orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as perform dry needling for pain management and trigger point release.
Anything related to insurance is something patients deal with that I want to fix. Patients often do not get the care they deserve because of the insurance that they have. Insurance options can seem good on paper, but then when a patient tries to get PT, for example, they are denied even though they could benefit tremendously from it despite the therapist stating medical necessity.
I enjoy treating neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease and post-stroke, and love performing dry needling.
My co-workers are the best! We have such a positive and supportive atmosphere, and patients feed off of this and look forward to coming to therapy to interact with us!
