Sutton Musgraves
M.S., CF-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
I was born and raised in Van Buren, AR. After high school, I attended the University of Arkansas, joining the Honors College and engaging in research. I graduated summa cum laude in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, minoring in Human Development and Family Sciences. I then began my master’s program, completing clinical placements in preschools, private practices, and a rehabilitation hospital, while also serving as a graduate assistant. I earned my master’s degree in May 2024 and returned to the River Valley for its simplicity, sense of home, and to be closer to my family.
During my clinical rotations, I acquired extensive experience across multiple settings, working with both adults and children presenting a range of diagnoses. My placements included developmental preschools, outpatient clinics, and a rehabilitation hospital, each enhancing my understanding and skills in the field.
My core values are compassion, adaptability, integrity, and ambition. Compassion guides me in creating supportive environments where people feel valued. Adaptability helps me navigate challenges with flexibility and openness. Integrity is central to who I am; I prioritize honesty and ethical behavior in all my interactions. Finally, my ambition drives me to pursue personal growth and excellence in everything I do.
“Be willing to be uncomfortable. Be comfortable being uncomfortable. It may get tough, but it’s a small price to pay for living a dream.” -Peter McWilliams
As a speech-language pathologist, I find joy in all aspects of therapy, from dysphagia and dysphonia to phonological processing and aphasia. While I aim to be well-versed in every area, I ultimately aspire to specialize in dysphagia and dysphonia for both pediatric and adult patients, bringing increased skill to the River Valley to better serve our community. As of now, I am certified to provide Ampcare to patients with dysphagia.
Many patients, both pediatric and adult, experience swallowing deficits. I strive to help them transition to the most appropriate diet while equipping them with the skills needed for effective and safe eating.
I find the most joy in treating dysphagia, dysphonia, and aphasia.
During my time at Therapists in Motion, I have loved the collaborative atmosphere among therapists, the supportive environment, and the company’s dedication to offering opportunities for specialization in our fields. However, one of my favorite aspects is working with our patients and their families, who are incredibly dedicated to reaching their goals.

When I’m not working, my most favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and family. I also enjoy exploring coffee shops, staying active with workouts, and spending time in the kitchen baking new things.
